If I had money. This is where I would buy something...right now. It is now part of the EU. You can find a place 5 minutes from the beach, one hour from amazing skiiing, one hour from Venice, Italy....smack dab in the middle of wineries. If you ever think YOU missed an opportunity...this is probably even more profound.
Slovenia looks like Tuscany, and has an energized spirit to it. The people are friendly, and it really is shocking that it is so similar to Italy, and yet so different. Very interesting.
